Hello Everybody,
Here is our November, 2021 update;
We have been busy with several things, but here are some of the highlights.
In October we replaced the roof of the bathroom, the wood structure was falling apart due to termites, we replaced the wood & the tin sheets for the roof. We also treated the wood so it would not be so tasty to the termites.
We also had a Baptism and a Wedding in November, so below are more details.
We were happy to have a baptism, it had been a long time since we had one. During 2021 all recreational sites with pools were closed.

A couple in our church decided to get married, in good order since they already have 5 children.
Most couples here in the rainforest do not get married officially, they just live together. But as they become Christians we encourage them to get married as soon as possible. Sometimes they want to wait until they can have a big wedding, but we let them know it does not need to be big & fancy, that they should set a good example for their children, we help them where we can.

We also have Ena (Pastor Raul's other daughter), who is applying to go the Bible College in Colombia, that is connected to Raul Ruis' church in Diamond Bar, California. And we have Jeins (Jane's) who is applying to the Bible College in Cajamarca, Peru.
I wanted to spread them out for two main reasons, first; So that they would get to know other students, and not just be a little group of 4. Second; so they would get to know other Pastor's and the different ways the other Bible Colleges are run. So we pray that they are all approved and have a wonderful time studying the word and growing closer in their relationship with our Lord & Savior, Jesus. I hope to have them study 1 year at 2 of the Bible Colleges.
Well... here is where the needs come in.
We need help in air transportation from Iquitos to their destinations. For Tatiana & Gina it is about $150 each to get them to Trujillo. They have been blessed with scholarships for the Classes, room & board for the semester, but that only includes their lunch from Monday to Friday, so they will need about $120 each per month for their meals & transportation into town to get their personal items.
For Jeins, he is went to Ica to work until the classes start, so He will need about $70 for airfare from Lima to Cajamarca. He will also need to pay for about 1/2 of his tuition which is about $400, and about $50 a month for transportation to town and some meals that are not covered in his scholarship.
Now for Ena, if approved she will need about $400 in air fare to Colombia. I am not sure of her other needs at this time.
So, we are looking for sponsors, who would like to invest in the spiritual lives of these young people. They were chosen because they already work helping in many areas of our church. They teach Children's Church and they participate in all of our church activities, with dramas or Choreographies, among other things. So please pray about blessing our young people. It does not have to cover all of their needs, but if we get 22 persons to give $100, we will have enough to send them all out.
The purpose in sending them, is to give them a time dedicated in learning the word and growing in their personal relationship with our Lord. Which is easier when they are away from the routine and in a dedicated place with other like-minded young people and godly teachers. They also learn how other churches do things, like worship, Children's Ministries, Outreaches, etc... It is a once in a lifetime blessing for these young people, that will prepare them to be grounded in the Word and to be a blessing to what-ever church they attend, in the future.
They will also need laptops, but Jein & Ena are working and hopefully will have enough by January. They are about $800 here.
